Ashton McFadden
Founding Partner
Ashton is a founding partner of Jamesbeck, and has been recruiting senior investment management professionals for over 20 years. Previously he was the co-head of the investment management search practice at Monster Worldwide. Ashton joined Monster via the acquisition of Johnson, Smith and Kinsley, where he was the head of the investment management executive search practice. Ashton began his career in portfolio management and securities analysis at Bankers Trust Company, before moving into a sales role for the bank’s first generation of foreign exchange-based alternative investment products. Subsequently, he joined Reuters America, where he was involved in the development, marketing, and sales of portfolio management analytics and security transaction products. He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
Ashton grew up in New York City and lives with his family in Westchester County.
